Why does Mnova MS only run on Windows?

As our users will know very well, we have been very keen to make sure that Mnova is a multiplatform application, running on Windows, Mac OS X and many Linux distributions.

Our concept is multipage, multitechnique, multivendor and multiplatform. However, for LC/GC/MS, our capacity to read the different vendor data relies on vendor generated libraries which are currently Windows only. This has meant that, in the short term, the software will be running only on Windows. We are still very committed to delivering the LC/GC/MS on a multiplatform setting and are actively working on a solution for this challenge, which we hope to be able to deliver soon.
